Below are a couple of top AEW & WWE news stories of the day.
• The Patriarchy, consisting of Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne, won the AEW World Trios Championship on the July 20th episode of Collision by defeating the Bang Bang Gang (Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, and Juice Robinson).
In a critical moment, Mama Wayne sprayed Juice Robinson with hairspray, allowing Christian Cage to hit his finishing move and secure the win for The Patriarchy. This victory marked their first reign as Trios Champions.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Killswitch (fka Luchasaurus) injured his arm during the match, suffering a partially torn biceps. Despite the injury, Killswitch is expected to continue working through it.
• Rhea Ripley & Dominik Mysterio went to the ring on this week’s RAW and called out Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. Liv came out in the stands and said she won’t be coming to the ring because she has self control unlike Rhea and can wait until SummerSlam.
Liv said Rhea is jealous of her and understands why, and claimed that it is because gorgeous men like Dom don’t go for girls that look like Rhea, they go for girls that look like her.

Dominik told Liv that he does not like her and actually hates her, and claimed that she ruined his life. Liv left while crying, while Rhea laughed, licked Dom’s cheek and kissed him.
