• After Christopher Daniels’ in-ring retirement, it looks like another AEW wrestler’s in-ring retirement is near.

MVP had his first match in AEW on last week’s Dynamite: Maximum Carnage. He teamed up with his Hurt Syndicate members Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin to defeat Mark Briscoe & Private Party in a trios match.

After the match, MVP took to Instagram to note that the end of his in-ring career is near.

Here’s what the former WWE United States Champion wrote:

“Vintage MVP!!!! 2025 and I’m still BALLIN!!! The clock is ticking on my in ring career. I don’t have much time left. But I promise to give you everything I’ve got until I finally reach the final match.”

Speaking of The Hurt Syndicate, Lashley & Benjamin will face Private Party for the AEW World Tag Team Championship this coming Wednesday on Dynamite.

• In 2018, Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss teamed up in the WWE Mixed Match Challenge, where they had a romantic storyline.

It looks like Strowman wants to revisit this storyline, as he asked fans on his Instagram story if they want WWE to run this angle again.

Braun Strowman Wants To Do His Romantic Storyline With Alexa Bliss Again

Strowman returned to WWE TV this past Friday on SmackDown, where he saved LA Knight from Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga. Strowman will face Fatu on Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 25.

On the other hand, Alexa Bliss’ WWE return is officially gaining momentum, with reports indicating that her comeback is actively being woven into future creative plans.

WrestleVotes shared an update, revealing that WWE is preparing for Bliss’ return by incorporating her into upcoming storylines and developing new merchandise and promotional materials:

“The highly anticipated return of Alexa Bliss is on the horizon, according to a well placed source. Creative is reportedly working her into future plans, with merchandise and promotional materials already in development.”

After this report came out, Alexa went on to reveal on X that she’s back to her pre-pregnancy weight, and shared the following photo:

Bliss, who last competed at Royal Rumble 2023 in a match against Bianca Belair, has had a transformative time away from WWE. During her hiatus, she navigated personal health challenges and embraced motherhood, marking a significant chapter in her life.

In addition to her WWE return plans, Bliss has ventured into voice acting, taking on a role in Netflix’s new anime series, Sakamoto Days, premiering January 11.

She voices Obiguro, a character in the action-comedy series about an ex-hitman turned shopkeeper balancing family life and high-stakes chaos. The show will release new episodes every Saturday, providing fans of both wrestling and anime an exciting crossover to enjoy.
