Below are a couple of top WWE & AEW news stories of the day.
• Dante Martin, who has been sidelined since the ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view, sustained an injury during a Reach for the Sky ladder match.
The broken leg injury occurred when he took a destroyer from Penta El Zero Miedo off a ladder through multiple tables. Martin was rushed to the hospital, and the last update in July indicated he was healing ahead of schedule.

• Shane McMahon’s son, Declan James McMahon (age 19), currently playing college football at Indiana University, has expressed interest in WWE and forming a group similar to his father’s Mean Street Posse (Shane O’Mac, Pete Gas, Rodney & Joey Abs) during the Attitude Era.
He envisions a “Meaner Street Posse” with his college friends, particularly his defensive line teammates, citing the talent and charisma within the team.
In an interview with Jim Varsallone of The Miami Herald, Declan said:
“My dad had the Mean Street Posse. But we were thinking, like, what if we have a Meaner Street Posse, right? What if we get some of those big guys?
We got a ton of talent here. And we got a lot of characters and charisma on the team. So you know, it could be.”
