• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (December 5, 2015) – ECW Veteran Passed Away

On this day in 2015, we lost Old School ECW Wrestler Hack Meyers (Real name: Donald Haviland) due to complications from brain surgery, just 2 days before his 42nd birthday.

Meyers was a regular in the original NWA Eastern Championship Wrestling / ECW Extreme Championship Wrestling promotion back in the mid-90s.

Here’s what fellow ECW Original Axel Rotten tweeted that day about his friend’s passing:

“Words cannot express the sadness I feel right now. My friend, partner, Brother #HackMeyers has passed away #shaah”

• Another Big Debut Could Take Place At Royal Rumble 2019

NXT Superstar Lars Sullivan is scheduled to make his WWE main roster debut soon.

RAW & SmackDown are set to have a bidding war to sign Lars to their respective brands.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the original plan for Lars was to have his main roster debut video package air for the first time at TLC 2018 PPV (but Vince McMahon was impressed when he saw the video package decided to air it at Survivor Series 2018).

WWE would’ve then promoted Lars’ debut for over a month and he would’ve finally debuted at the Royal Rumble 2019 PPV, where he would’ve revealed his decision of which brand he’s going to be on.

WWE still hasn’t revealed any date for Lars’ debut, so it’s still possible that he makes his debut at Royal Rumble 2019.

According to the Wrestling Observer, another debut could take place at Royal Rumble 2019 and that could be the WWE main roster debut of former NXT Champion Aleister Black.

Word going on is that Sullivan is going to be a part of RAW and Black will be going to SmackDown Live.

We’ll keep you updated regarding this.
