• Alexa Bliss Wants To Face Trish Stratus At WWE Evolution PPV
During a recent interview with The Miami Herald, RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss talked about when she found about WWE Evolution PPV, which WWE Hall of Famer she wants to work with and more.
Below are the highlights:
On when she found about WWE Evolution PPV:
“We found out on the spot. It was an amazing surprise, it was really cool to have that moment with the WWE Universe because they were so excited and they were excited because we were excited and it was just really cool.
All the SmackDown women were there. Because we were wondering [what they were doing on Raw]. Because they flew them all in and we were like, ‘what is going on?’ We knew Stephanie had an announcement and we knew it was going to be big when everyone was showing up.”
On which WWE Hall of Famer she wants to work with at WWE Evolution:
“I watched Trish (Stratus) growing up and when we were at the Women’s Royal Rumble I got to watch her in the ring. We had met finally and she was just fun to be around and fun to talk to and I would just love to be in the ring with her.”
• Another Change Being Made To SummerSlam 2018 Title Match?
The SmackDown Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam 2018 was originally announced to be Carmella vs. Becky Lynch after Becky defeated Carmella in a non-title bout.
However, the match got changed to a triple threat match when Charlotte Flair also defeated Carmella in a non-title bout to get added to the Title match at SummerSlam 2018.
Slice Wrestling is now reporting that WWE officials have discussed adding Asuka to this Title match as well, thus making it a Fatal 4 Way match.
Only one episode of SmackDown Live remains before SummerSlam 2018, so we’ll see what WWE officials have finally decided on next week’s show.
