Below are a couple of top AEW news stories of the day.
• As we noted earlier, Fightful Select reported that Rafael Morffi, Vice President of Live Events/Touring and a key figure backstage at AEW, is set to leave the company at the end of the year.
Morffi’s new job will be a high-level position at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
In an update, AEW’s Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer Dana Massie (wife of Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks) is also leaving the company.
Both Morffi and Massie were working in All Elite Wrestling since the start of the company in 2019. As a matter of fact, Massie was selling AEW merch at AEW’s Las Vegas press conference, which took place before their first official event.
