Although the revenue from YouTube isn’t anywhere close to the revenue from the TV deals, the YouTube video views are still a part of the social media numbers that WWE puts in their financial reports to boost their statistics in front of shareholders.
Also, the YouTube views in a way show what the viewers are interested in. So despite most people writing negative things about it on Social Media, it looks like people are interested in this storyline as other things on RAW didn’t draw numbers anywhere near this angle.
