Old School WWF Attitude Era Veteran “SmackDown!’s number one announcer” Funaki (Real name: Shoichi Funaki) celebrates his 50th birthday today.

He joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1998 as part of the ‘Kai En Tai’ faction, which later evolved in just a Tag Team, consisting of him & Taka Michinoku.

He was with the company for 12 years till he was released in 2010, but eventually returned in 2016 as an official WWE commentator for Japanese TV.

• Another Reunion Rumored To Take Place On RAW

The Shield reunited this past Monday on RAW when Braun Strowman was about to cash in his Money In The Bank contract on new Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose did not let that happen and came out to the aid of Reigns.

The Shield will now feud with Braun Strowman and a rumor has begun that another reunion might be taking place on RAW.

Word going on is that a Wyatt Family reunion might be next and this would lead to a Shield vs. Wyatt Family feud one more time.

With Bray’s time as WOKEN Matt Hardy’s tag team partner being over, he’s rumored to team up with Strowman in this battle with The Shield.

Also, with Erick Rowan being out of action with a biceps injury, Luke Harper is left on SmackDown Live with no program and he is now being rumored to move over to RAW and this would lead to The Shield (Reigns, Rollins & Ambrose) feuding with The Wyatt Family (Strowman, Wyatt & Harper).
