Another Version Of CM Punk – Jack Perry Fight At All In

It looks like issues between CM Punk & “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry are now bigger than issues between CM Punk & The Elite.

In the final match of the AEW All In Zero Hour, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry lost the FTW Championship to HOOK.

During the match, Perry hit a Rolling Thunder on HOOK off the top of his Limousine while he was lying on the hood of the car.

After the spot, Perry said:

“Real glass. Go cry me a river!”

This was a shot at CM Punk as a few months ago, Perry wanted to use real glass in a taped segment on AEW Collision, but Punk was against it and stopped Perry from using it because he thought Perry wanted to use real glass in the segment so that he wouldn’t have to come to work the next week.

This had caused heat between Punk and Perry.

Perry was going backstage and Punk was coming out for his Real AEW World Championship match against Samoa Joe immediately after the Zero Hour.

As noted before, Fightful Select reported that Perry had a physical altercation with Punk when he went backstage. The altercation reportedly involved physicality and a lot of yelling.

PWInsider Elite reported that Punk “went after” or even “hit” Perry.

Punk’s side told Fightful that Perry approached Punk backstage and “stepped in his face” and “bumped” Punk. Punk was said to have then pushed Perry. Perry allegedly “came at Punk and got choked.”

Some other people claimed to Fightful that it was Punk who approached Perry, exchanged words and then Punk “threw a punch”, grabbed a “front face lock”, which was broken up.

The only thing absolutely confirmed at this point is that AEW President Tony Khan said during the post-All In media scrum that a backstage incident happened and they are investigating it.
