• Another Wrestler Done With AEW, More Wrestlers Leaving Soon

As we reported earlier, Lio Rush will be leaving AEW next month.

He made his All Elite Wrestling debut on May 30, 2021 at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view, but officially signed my the company in September.

Before signing with AEW, he announced his retirement a few months before that, but ended up returning (similar to his other retirements).

Below is what he tweeted:

“On February 14, 2022, my contract will expire with AEW and I will become a free agent. For all booking inquiries, please email @[email protected].”

According to PWInsider, Peter Avalon’s AEW contract has expired and a new deal hasn’t been signed.

More wrestlers will leave AEW in the coming months, as the contracts of the following AEW wrestlers are set to expire soon:

– Marko Stunt

– Joey Janela

– Brian Cage

These contracts aren’t scheduled to be renewed, and AEW won’t announce their departure publicly.

It should be noted that some of these might still appear in AEW on a per-appearance basis.
