In 2021 & 2022, Randy Orton & Matt Riddle (together known as RK-BRO) were one of the most popular tag teams in WWE.

WWE had big plans for this duo, but some of those plans got canceled due to Orton being out of action with a major back injury and Riddle’s eventual release from the company.

During a virtual signing with Signed By Superstars, Riddle revealed that RK-BRO was supposed to break up with a heel turn, but he didn’t reveal who was going to turn heel, as he still hopes to finish this story one day by returning to WWE.

Here’s what the former RAW Tag Team Champion said:

“I don’t wanna really say how, because if I do return and then we do the story — yeah, I would say all teams eventually turn on each other; I don’t wanna give the spoiler of who was gonna turn on who.

I look at it like this, my big thing if I were to come back, I’d really like to finish the story with Randy. Unfortunately, he got hurt and the other thing too, even with Pete Dunne, it was unfortunate COVID happened.

I feel like I never got to finish the story with The Broserweights. Seems like I always have unfinished business with my tag team partners.”

Speaking of Riddle, he will have his debut match in New Japan Pro Wrestling at the NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo (Night 1) event on February 23rd.

He will face Hiroshi Tanahashi for the NJPW TV Championship.
