• Another WWE TV Return Happening In September

Bronson Reed isn’t the only absent WWE Superstar set to return to TV this month. Rusev is set to make his return to WWE television in September after being sidelined by an in-ring injury scare and an unexpected illness, according to Fightful Select.

Online rumors quickly started flying after his late-July match against Je’Von Evans, with speculation claiming he was frustrated with the company and stormed away from the ring. In reality, a scary physical issue forced him straight to the back.

During the bout, Rusev landed badly on his neck and began losing feeling in his hands. Even though the referee asked about stopping the contest right then, Rusev insisted on finishing, only for the numbness and discomfort to quickly get worse.

WWE doctors immediately checked him under standard concussion protocols and gave him time off to heal. After heading to the WWE Performance Center to prepare for his comeback, his return was briefly delayed by a short illness, and he spent the past week waiting on final medical clearance to step back inside the ring.
