Another WWE Wrestler Expected To Take Time Off Soon

• OLD SCHOOL HISTORY (July 17, 2000) – WWF RAW IS WAR

On this day in 2000, the World Wrestling Federation aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF RAW IS WAR’.

It was broadcasted from the Pepsi Arena in Albany, New York and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Fully Loaded 2000’ PPV.

Here’s the card:

1. The Dudley Boyz vs. The Hardy Boyz

2. WWF Hardcore Title: Steve Blackman vs. The Godfather

3. D-Generation X vs. Too Cool

4. Chris Benoit, Christian & Edge vs. The APA & The Rock

5. WWF Light Heavyweight Title: Dean Malenko vs. Chyna

6. Rikishi vs. Test

7. Kane & The Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle & Triple H

• Another WWE Wrestler Expected To Take Time Off Soon

As we noted earlier, Pro Wrestling Sheet reported that Finn Balor has asked for some time off and it will begin sometime in August.

The expectation is that Balor will work SummerSlam 2019 and then go on a two month hiatus.

Peyton Royce is another WWE wrestler that’s expected to take time off soon.

Current plan is for The IIconics to drop the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to The Kabuki Warriors (possibly at SummerSlam 2019) and then Peyton will go on her hiatus as she’ll be getting married to AEW wrestler Shawn Spears (f.k.a Tye Dillinger in WWE).

The IIconics intentionally got counted-out during this week’s SmackDown in their Titles defense against Kabuki Warriors. So The IIconics lost the match, but still retained their Titles.

Kabuki Warriors then destroyed The IIconics after the match and you can watch it below:
