• In the main event of WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns took his eyes off Cody Rhodes and decided to attack Seth Rollins with a steel chair. Moments later, Cody defeated Roman to win the WWE Championship.
On the SI Media podcast, Reigns addressed his decision to go after Rollins during such an important match:
“Anytime I have a chance to f**k him up, I’m gonna take it. That’s how I feel about him. Anytime I have the chance to pull the trigger on him, I’m going to.
He’s a constant reminder and a lesson to myself on who to trust and how to trust them and if you can’t how to keep them and that’s where I like to keep him a chair’s length away.”

• Paul Heyman didn’t answer his phone when Roman Reigns called, but returned to SmackDown the next week with CM Punk as the 5th member of Team OG Bloodline for the WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024.
During an interview on the SI Media podcast, Reigns called Heyman’s behaviour ‘shady’:
“Paul’s been incredibly shady if you ask me. I’ve seen the speculation, ‘Well, you didn’t answer his phone calls,’ and this and that. But at the end of the day, when I take my leave, there’s no question what I’m doing.
I’m recessing back to family, changing the hats, putting on that fatherhood hat to refocus. That way I can come back and dominate and run the show, representing my family at the highest capacity.
The question is what happened with him. There’s a lot of things that we just haven’t had the time to dive into, and that’s just the train wreck of a return that it’s been for me.”
