As we have reported before, the RAW Women’s Championship held by SmackDown Superstar Asuka is now the WWE Women’s Championship.
Asuka received the new title from Adam Pearce this past Friday on SmackDown.
The design of this title is very similar to that of Roman Reigns’ new Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, except it has a white strap.
Some fans didn’t like this new design and Asuka tweeted the following about it:
“I would like to see the fashion sense of the person who says that my belt design is terrible 🤪
If they have bad fashion sense, I despise them 💩”

During this Title reveal segment, Charlotte Flair made her return to WWE programming.
This was Charlotte’s first appearance since WrestleMania 39, where she lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley.
Pearce said Charlotte has to wait in line. Charlotte said she doesn’t do that as she made the line. Charlotte then challenged Asuka for the Title. Asuka accepted.
Asuka spit the mist, but missed. Charlotte then smashed Asuka’s head on the podium.
In a backstage segment after this, Pearce was on the phone and was looking to book Asuka vs. Charlotte for Money In The Bank. Bianca heard this and wasn’t happy.
Bianca let her frustrations out on Twitter by writing the following:
“Been processing what went down last night. So let me get this straight. I did exactly what was asked of me. I agreed to let Asuka have her moment as long as I got my REMATCH JUST for Charlotte to come out, demand and get handed a REMATCH?
🤔 Am I trippin or am I trippin?”
Bianca then took a shot at Charlotte coming for a Title that was formerly the RAW Women’s Title, despite losing the SmackDown Women’s Title in her last match:
“Well apparently we have rematches for different titles…
So… Problem solved
🤷🏽♀️”
Asuka will defend the WWE Women’s Title against Charlotte in 3 weeks on SmackDown.
