• Asuka’s Original WrestleMania 35 Opponent Revealed

With Asuka losing the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair on this week’s SmackDown, she won’t have a singles match at WrestleMania 35.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Mandy Rose was scheduled to win the #1 contenders Fatal 4 Way match to earn another Title match against Asuka at WrestleMania 35.

No word yet on if Mandy was scheduled to win this time.

As we noted before, Vince McMahon felt it’s not worth having a 17th or 18th match at WrestleMania, so they nixed this planned match and made the main event of WrestleMania 35 stronger.

WWE Officials are trying to cut down on the numbers of matches for WrestleMania 35.

WrestleMania 35 is expected to be the longest WWE PPV of all time.
