As we noted before, there were plans to do Asuka vs. Lacey Evans for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 35, but those plans have now been nixed.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials are heading in the direction of a Triple Threat match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 35 – Asuka vs. Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville.
