• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (December 16, 2006) – Old School Wrestling Legend Passed Away

On this day in 2006 we lost Old School NWA/WWF Legend The Spoiler (Real name: Don Jardine) at the age of 66, due to complications from a heart attack and leukemia.

After a long and successful career in several Territories, The Spoiler joined the World Wrestling Federation roster in the summer of 1984.

When the WWF purchased Georgia Championship Wrestling to get their TBS timeslot, The Spoiler was a house hold name, whom the TBS viewers were familiar with, so Vince signed him to a deal.

†REST IN PEACE SPOILER!
