Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, featuring MJF and Triple H.

• On a recent episode of the Reffin’ it Up podcast, Attitude Era personality Jonathan Coachman praised AEW star MJF and called him All Elite Wrestling’s version of The Rock.

However, Coach also sees a problem when no other AEW wrestler can match MJF’s level of talent, especially on a microphone:

“To me, MJF, I was shocked, and from what I understand, I heard the number that he’s making now with his new deal, and none of us ever know. But he’s the one dude to me that moves the needle a little bit.

But when you have a guy like him who’s as close to The Rock as they have, but you have nobody else that can match him on the mic — do you guys feel this way? That if you don’t have a guy that can match you, sometimes you come off as a bully or just using lines that can get a pop from the crowd?”

• Diddy was taken into custody by federal agents on Monday, charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for the purpose of prostitution. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to between 15 years and life in prison.

Someone posted a photo of Vince McMahon, The Rock, Triple H & Stephanie McMahon with Diddy from 2013 and claimed that all of them attended Diddy’s “special parties”.

However, the above photo is actually from the “Superstars for Sandy Relief Party”, not from one of Diddy’s infamous parties. Several other WWE Superstars attended this, including John Cena, Chris Jericho, Mick Foley, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler Kofi Kingston, Alberto Del Rio, Ted DiBiase Jr, Hornswoggle, Natalya, Layla, Lilian Garcia, Alicia Fox, Maryse & many others. A lot of mainstream celebrities attended this event as well and WWE has photos of it on their website.

Attitude Era wrestler Val Venis ended up believing the false rumors and specifically targeted Triple H in his tweet:

“The Rock is not a surprise to me considering he sold his soul years ago. While Vince, Paul and Stephanie should not be a surprise, I am actually surprised. But then again, power and wealth without God corrupts humans to their very core.

Make no mistake about it. HHH was never one of the ‘boys’. He was and is a power and position hungry wanker. He elevates those who worship him and will dump and crush anyone he is finished with. IE: Chyna.”
