• Austin Theory Comments On His Failed Money In The Bank Cash-In

Austin Theory cashed-in his Money In The Bank contract on RAW and failed to become champion.

He cashed-in on Seth Rollins for the United States Championship, but Bobby Lashley interfered and beat Theory up, which resulted in Rollins defeating Theory to retain the US Title.

Many fans feel that Theory was badly buried, especially since he cashed-in on a mid-card title and still couldn’t win.

However, RSN is reporting that WWE Officials are excited for Theory’s future and feel that he’s in a good position now, because he’s involved with RAW’s two top stars – Rollins & Lashley, and will continue chasing the US Title, which is considered the #1 singles title on RAW now.

One source also stated the following:

“Theory is better off today than he has been since Vince retired.”

After this failed cash-in, Theory posted a compilation of his dropkicks and wrote the following:

Baron Corbin tweeted the following about Theory’s loss:

“Hey @_Theory1 welcome to the club. We are a special group led by @JohnCena.”

Below is the list of names that cashed-in their Money In The Bank contracts and failed to win the Title:

1. John Cena (2012)

2. Damien Sandow (2013)

3. Baron Corbin (2017)

4. Braun Strowman (2018)

5. Austin Theory (2022)

The above list doesn’t include Mr. Kennedy and Otis, because they didn’t cash-in. They lost their MITB contracts to Edge (2007) and The Miz (2020) respectively.
