Below are some top AEW & WWE news stories of the day.

• After losing the AEW World Tag Team Championship on Dynamite, The Young Bucks are now taking a brief hiatus, and AEW’s plans for their return are beginning to take shape.

Following their loss to Private Party, Young Bucks were seen clearing out their locker room and exiting the arena in a hurry, indicating a temporary break. Frustrated, they told Christopher Daniels that AEW was feeling “too chaotic,” and they intended to “work from home” for a period. Reports soon emerged confirming The Young Bucks would be on hiatus.

Also, Nick Jackson is dealing with a shoulder injury.

The Wrestling Observer reports that their break is largely to avoid entanglement in the ongoing Blackpool Combat Club storyline. They are, however, expected to return as babyfaces, aiming to “save” AEW.

Their comeback is anticipated for AEW and NJPW’s Wrestle Dynasty show on January 5.
