According to The Dirty Sheets podcast, there’s backstage heat on SmackDown Live commentator JBL and the SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi.
On the latest edition of SmackDown Live, JBL asked Naomi an unscripted question on if she’ll have a special entrance for her Women’s Title match against Natalya at SummerSlam 2017. To this question, Naomi replied yes, she’ll have a special entrance at the biggest event of the Summer.
Now there’s backstage heat on them for these comments because WWE officials have planned special entrances for Finn Balor (The Demon King) and Shinsuke Nakamura (#1 contender for the WWE Championship) only and due to these comments, they’ll now have to think about doing a special entrance for Naomi at the last minute.
However, it should be noted that this backstage heat won’t affect Naomi Title reign, and she’ll still expected to be the SmackDown Women’s Champion for the rest of 2017 (because WWE wants to market the “glowing” version of her SmackDown Women’s Championship and the replicas for it won’t be available before December).
