• Backstage News On Bryan Danielson’s Heel Turn In AEW

As seen at the AEW Full Gear 2021 PPV, Bryan Danielson defeated Miro (fka Rusev in WWE) to win the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament and become the new #1 Contender.

In the main event of the PPV, “Hangman” Adam Page defeated Kenny Omega to win the AEW World Championship.

On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Bryan confronted Hangman and appeared to have turned heel to feud the man who’s arguably the #1 babyface in All Elite Wrestling right now.

Bryan got booed many times during this segment, especially when he mentioned WrestleMania:

“Apparently, cowboy sh*t doesn’t involve wrestling. I’m out here wrestling every week and you’re just out here flappin’ your gums. Hey, some people celebrate like that! When I won the World Championship at WrestleMania, I wrestled the very next day. I wrestled the very next day! Of course, Virginia boos hard work!”

Bryan also said that he will beat every member of the Dark Order before his Title match against Page.

We are being told that Bryan’s heel turn will not lead to an AEW World Title victory for him. As a matter of fact, Hangman Page is scheduled to give Bryan his 1st loss in AEW. He will beat Bryan to solidify himself as the champion.

Speaking of last night’s Dynamite, CM Punk began a new feud as well. Tap here to read the complete results.
