• Backstage News On Bryan Danielson’s Opponent On This Week’s AEW Rampage
On last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, Bryan Danielson (fka Daniel Bryan in WWE) had his 1st ever match in All Elite Wrestling, which was a non-title match against AEW World Champion Kenny Omega.
The match ended in a 30-minute time limit draw.
After the match, Adam Cole & The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) attacked Bryan, but Christian Cage, Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy made the save.
According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, Bryan is expected to face former AEW World Tag Team Champion Nick Jackson on this Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage.

• Old School ECW/WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday
Old School ECW/WWF Veteran & Puroresu Legend “The Japanese Buzzsaw” Yoshihiro Tajiri celebrates his 51st birthday today.
Tajiri wrestled for Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling from 1998 till they closed their doors in 2001, but was immediately picked up by Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Federation (later WWE), where he wrestled until he went back to his home country Japan in December 2005.
In Japan, The Japanese Buzzsaw wrestled for several promotions such as New Japan Pro Wrestling, All Japan Pro Wrestling, Hustle & Wrestle-1.
He returned to the United States, when he joined iMPACT Wrestling (fka TNA) for a few matches in 2014 and also returned to the WWE for the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic and WWE’s cruiserweight division “205 Live” for some time.
