The match is no longer listed, and it’s unclear how AEW will handle the titles and participants in Omega’s absence.
The Wrestling Observer reports that Omega received the diagnosis after the December 13th Dynamite show, emphasizing the severity of the situation and how fortunate Omega was to seek medical attention promptly:
“He was told when diagnosed that he was very lucky he went in because the situation could have been catastrophic, such as getting a blood infection, if he wasn’t diagnosed at the time he was, which would have something like a 50% chance of death.”
