On this day in Pro Wrestling history on April 2, 2000, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WrestleMania 2000’ LIVE on PPV from the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim in Anaheim, California.
This was the 16th annual WrestleMania event and had the tagline “A McMahon in Every Corner”.
The inaugural WrestleMania happened in 1985 and even nowadays WrestleMania is still by far the biggest professional wrestling event on the planet each year.

• Backstage News On Heat On Seth Rollins During His Early WWE Days
According to the Wrestling Observer, current RAW Superstar Seth Rollins had a lot of backstage heat in WWE when he first started in the company.
The heat was because Rollins was a top indy star and had the “know it all” attitude:
“I mean even like, when the Shield came up and he was one of the three guys, I had been hearing like there was so much negativity towards him.
You know that feeling that he knew it all and he was doing it his way, and now when he wrestles, he does wrestle his way, you know more than their way, and it works, but back then, those were all bad habits and bad style and whatever.”
