A segment where LA Knight was searching for a tag team partner was scheduled to air this past Friday on SmackDown, but was canceled at the last minute.

WWE eventually ended up doing this on the SmackDown LowDown talk show, which airs on Saturday.

On SmackDown LowDown, The Street Profits talked about their transition to the blue brand after being drafted.

LA Knight interrupted them and said he can beat Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins with any partner.

Knight took a quick look around the locker room and called Rick Boogs, who was drafted to SmackDown as well, and told him they’re going to be taking on The Street Profits.

This decision received a lot of heat on Social Media, as fans want WWE to push Knight up the card as a singles star.

According to insider source BoozerRasslin, the Knight-Boogs team is only temporary and Knight getting a big singles push is 100% in the books, as he’s a top 3 contender to win the Men’s Money In The Bank contract this year.

Below is the updated card for the next episode of SmackDown:

– Roman Reigns / Solo Sikoa and Kevin Owens / Sami Zayn will come face-to-face ahead of their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match at Night of Champions

– AJ Styles will appear on The Grayson Waller Effect

– Pretty Deadly vs. The Brawling Brutes (Butch & Ridge Holland)

– The Usos vs. The LWO (Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar)

– The Street Profits vs. LA Knight & Rick Boogs
