• Backstage News On Speculation Of Bayley Leaving WWE
At WrestleMania 39 Saturday, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Lita & Becky Lynch defeated Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai & IYO SKY) in a 6-woman tag team match.
During the ending moments of the match, Becky hit Bayley with the Manhandle Slam from the second rope for the win.
The next day, Bayley teased going on a hiatus or leaving WWE altogether with the following cryptic tweet:
“And sometimes the most romantic love story comes to an end.
Bye.”
According to Fightful Select, Bayley was scheduled to appear on the RAW after WrestleMania, to accompany Dakota & IYO for their match against Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez, but she was pulled from the show at the last minute for unknown reasons.
In an update from PWInsider, Bayley isn’t leaving WWE and made that tweet just to generate some post-WrestleMania buzz.

• Old School Wrestling Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 89th birthday of Old School Wrestling Veteran Les Thornton.
After wrestling in his home country England, UK during the 60s, Thornton came to the United States and wrestled for several NWA territories during the 70s and 80s such as Georgia Championship Wrestling, Championship Wrestling from Florida & Jim Crockett Promotions, before finally joining the World Wrestling Federation in 1984 in the process of Vince McMahon buying Georgia Championship Wrestling and signing a few of their regulars.
Despite being a star and a well respected Veteran in several territories, he only made it to lower mid-card / undercard status in the WWF and left the promotion in 1986.
