• Backstage News On The Lucha Bros Reuniting In WWE

Many fans have been wondering if The Lucha Bros (Penta and Rey Fenix) will reunite in WWE as a tag team.

Here’s what Fightful Select reported about it:

“Yes, they’ll absolutely be together at some point in the future. When I asked someone associated with the creative, they thought that both were capable of holding their own separately, generating buzz on their own, and then can create a big moment whenever they reunite.”

Penta is on RAW, where he competed in the Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania 41 and on the RAW after WrestleMania, but failed to capture the title on both occasions.

Fenix recently debuted on SmackDown and replaced an injured Rey Mysterio against El Grande Americano at WrestleMania 41, and lost.

• WWE Will Make An “Outstanding Offer” To Top AEW Star Later This Year

Former AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May’s future has been the subject of heavy speculation in recent weeks, with reports suggesting she could be preparing for a major career move to WWE.

She has been absent from AEW programming since her highly praised match against “Timeless” Toni Storm at Revolution 2025, which concluded their feud over the title.

According to multiple sources, May’s absence is tied to her reluctance to commit to a new deal with All Elite Wrestling. With her contract set to expire later this year, WWE is reportedly very interested in bringing her in.

WrestleVotes reported that WWE is preparing to make an “outstanding offer” to Mariah May as soon as she becomes available, indicating the company is extremely high on the 26-year-old star.

Adding to the situation, it was reported that May had informed AEW of her decision not to re-sign with the promotion before her Revolution 2025 match with Storm. This revelation may also explain why, despite fan support, their match did not main event the pay-per-view.
