• Backstage News On When Asuka Was Told She Won The RAW Women’s Championship

Asuka won the 2020 Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder match this past Sunday. While everyone including her thought that she became Ms. Money In The Bank, she actually became the RAW Women’s Champion that night.

She didn’t know about it until her segment with Becky Lynch, as per PWInsider:

“We were told that when WWE filmed the Money In The Bank ladder match in Stamford that Asuka was not aware she was winning the RAW Women’s Championship.

She was not aware that was happening until yesterday when she got to the taping. So her reaction while she knew what was going to happen in the segment was legitimately shocked and excitement we were told.”
