On this day in 2000, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW Thunder’ on TBS.

This episode was pre-taped at the Tulsa Convention Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma and featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW Fall Brawl 2000’ PPV.

As we all know by now, NXT will move to the USA Network starting September 18 and will become a two hour show.

According to Slice Wrestling, Triple H had discussions with other WWE officials and they all agreed on the idea of Undisputed Era being the top attraction on NXT.

Undisputed Era (NXT Champion Adam Cole, Roderick Strong and NXT Tag Team Champions Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish) are the top merchandise sellers on NXT and Triple H is fully aware that they are perceived “cool” by the NXT fans.
