On this day in Pro Wrestling history on February 17, 2002, the World Wrestling Federation aired their annual ‘No Way Out’ event LIVE on PPV from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This turned out to be the last ‘World Wrestling Federation’ version of NO WAY OUT, before the promotion was renamed World Wrestling Entertainment later that year.
No Way Out 2002 marks the WWF debut of the nWo faction, including the Hulkster’s WWF return after being gone for almost 9 years.

– WWF Tag Team Championship: Tazz and Spike Dudley (c) defeated Booker T and Test

– The Rock defeated The Undertaker
– #1 Contender: Kurt Angle defeated Triple H
– Undisputed WWF Championship: Chris Jericho (c) defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin
• Backstage News Regarding Goldberg’s WrestleMania 36 Replacement
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg is no longer scheduled to have a match at WrestleMania 36.
This wasn’t the case originally as he was scheduled to have a match at the Grandest Stage Of Them All, but things got changed once The Undertaker’s status for WrestleMania 36 got confirmed.
The idea of Goldberg having a match at WrestleMania 36 possibly got nixed because of this year’s WrestleMania already featuring a lot of “special attractions / part timers”.
Below is the list of part-time wrestlers that are scheduled to have a match at WrestleMania 36:
– Brock Lesnar (will defend the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre in the main event)
– The Undertaker (scheduled to wrestle AJ Styles)
– Edge (scheduled to wrestle Randy Orton)
– John Cena (rumored to wrestle Elias, but plans could change)
No word yet on Triple H’s status for WrestleMania 36.
