• Fightful Select provided the following backstage updates regarding “Edge” Adam Copeland debuting in AEW at last night’s WrestleDream PPV:
– There’s only positive reaction backstage in AEW to Edge’s signing.
– A longtime AEW star told them that Edge has talked about filling the gap left by CM Punk’s departure and that he’ll be helpful to the talent backstage without causing any internal issues.
– A lot of people backstage in All Elite Wrestling were surprised that WWE allowed the “Rated-R Superstar” trademark to lapse, thus allowing AEW to use it.
– People in WWE said that it became apparent at the start of summer that Edge was leaving. People in AEW weren’t officially clued in that Edge was coming, but it was a badly kept secret, so everyone kind of knew it was happening.
– WWE sources noted that Edge left on good terms and would be welcomed back if he ever decided to return. People in WWE are happy for Edge.
• WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix revealed that her husband Edge left her the following note before making AEW debut:
• Jon Moxley returned to AEW programming at last night’s WrestleDream PPV, after he suffered a concussion at Dynamite: Grand Slam.
Moxley joined the commentary team for multiple matches, when his fellow Blackpool Combat Club members were having matches.
While commentating, Moxley revealed that he got fined for some of the foul language he used on the Zero Hour show.

Current AEW Women’s World Champion Saraya was once fined by All Elite Wrestling for calling fans “neckbeard stinky tw*ts”.
• After his loss at AEW WrestleDream, Kenny Omega’s back-to-back PPV losing streak is now at 6. He teamed up with Chris Jericho and Kota Ibushi to lose to The Don Callis Family (Will Ospreay, Sammy Guevara & Konosuke Takeshita). Callis attacked Jericho with the baseball bat when the referee wasn’t looking, which led to Guevara pinning Jericho to pick up the win for his team.
Omega & Jericho will now face Guevara & Takeshita in a tag team match on this Wednesday’s 4-year anniversary episode of Dynamite.
