Below are a couple of important WWE news stories:

– If you were hoping to see Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus at SummerSlam, we have some bad news.

On this week’s episode of RAW, Becky defeated Trish via DQ after Zoey Stark interfered.

In a backstage segment after the match, Adam Pearce told Trish that will she face Becky again in 2 weeks, and banned Zoey from ringside.

This means that this highly awaited match won’t take place at this Saturday’s SummerSlam 2023 premium live event.

It will instead take place on the August 14th episode of RAW in Canada.

According to Fightful Select, the original plan for Trish vs. Becky III was to take place at SummerSlam, but it got changed over the weekend.

There were some discussions to postpone it until the Payback premium live event on September 2nd, but then the decision was made to do it in Canada in Trish’s home country.

– World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is a big fan of the NFL and shows his support for the Chicago Bears every year during the football season.

Many wrestlers in WWE have transitioned from being NFL players to pro wrestlers over the years. Rollins, on the other hand, wants to make the jump from WWE to NFL after he retires from wrestling, but he wants to work as an analyst.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, The Visionary spoke about his passion for the NFL:

“I would love [to be an NFL analyst]. Any chance we get to talk about football. I am all about it.

Obviously I’ve got ways to go [in wrestling]. I’m hitting my prime right now, just hitting my stride, I got some time, but I would love to parlay into working with the NFL in some capacity.

I’m just such a fan and it’s one of my only other real passions that I have time for. If anybody wants to have me on their show… I would love it.”
