Baron Corbin, Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox are leaving WWE. Indi and Tegan got released, while Corbin was informed that his contract is about to expire and they won’t re-sign him.
Corbin tweeted the following about his departure:
“That’s all she wrote folks. It’s been real and I appreciate everyone who supported me.”
Indi tweeted:
“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
Tegan wrote:
“Some things are just out of your control and you can only do as much as you can. Let’s clear one thing up though. I’m ready. I’ve been ready. Just have to show people what they’ve missed.”
Fightful Select reported the following about the backstage reaction to Indi’s release:
“Hartwell’s (release) was the most unexpected of the group (as her taped match aired on SmackDown). When asking for reactions, several staff and talent felt she was coming into her own with social media skits of late.”
Indi did a social media skit with Chelsea Green just a day before her release on Halloween, where she dressed up as Chelsea. You can watch it below:
