AEW President Tony Khan took shots at several big names in WWE this week to promote Dynamite’s “Title Tuesday” episode which went head-to-head with NXT.

He called WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and NXT Head Of Creative Shawn Michaels “Bald A$$holes”, and said that Michaels can not win the award for Booker Of The Year after his booking of NXT this week, which earned the brand a victory in the ratings war against Dynamite.

He also poked fun at WWE Executive Chairman Vince McMahon for being alleged of sexual misconduct and took shots at WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker and John Cena for being a part of NXT this week, a show which drew less than 1 million viewers.

Khan’s shots at Taker and Cena apparently triggered several people in WWE, according to a report from the Wrestling Observer.

The report stated that WWE saw Khan’s social media activity, specifically the tweet about John Cena and The Undertaker, as a “declaration of war”.

After tweeting about Taker and Cena, Khan announced Jay White vs. Penta El Zero Miedo for next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite on Twitter, which was seen as a great strategy by some people as he got a lot of engagement for his tweet about the two WWE Legends.
