2. Reigning Olympic Wrestling Champion Getting Signed To WWE? Bad News For Cena-Reigns Feud On This Coming Raw

– Reigning Olympic wrestling champion Erica Wiebe recently visited the WWE Peformance Center and there’s a possibility that she’s going to be signed to a developmental deal. Below is what WWE posted about it:

“The top women’s heavyweight freestyle wrestler in the world is getting an up-close look this week at what life in WWE is all about. At the invitation of WWE officials, Olympic gold medalist Erica Wiebe had a front-row seat Tuesday at the historic Mae Young Classic Finale in Las Vegas, and today, she joined NXT Superstars for an in-ring workout at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla.

The 28-year-old grappler won a gold medal for Canada in the 75 kg weight division at the 2016 Rio Olympics, and before that, she stood atop the podium at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. A native of Stittsville, Ontario, Wiebe resides and trains in Calgary, which WWE fans recognize as the home of the legendary Hart family dynasty. Wiebe holds degrees in kinesiology and sociology from the University of Calgary and is also an athlete ambassador for Fast and Female, a not-for-profit organization that promotes women empowerment through sports.

Wiebe has been on the radar of WWE talent scouts since their recruiting trip to the Rio Summer Games last year.”

– The series of promo battles between John Cena & Roman Reigns finally comes to an end as Cena won’t appear on the upcoming episode of Raw, which will be the go-home episode of Raw for No Mercy 2017.

The reason for his absence is that Cena will be in China for a SmackDown Live Event. However, the kayfabe reason for Cena’s absence would be that he missed the show due to Braun Strowman destroying him in their match.
