• Bad News For Bron Breakker

The outlook for Bron Breakker’s involvement at WrestleMania 42 has taken a discouraging turn following his recent medical emergency. On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez shared that a sense of pessimism is growing within WWE regarding the young star’s recovery timeline.

While Breakker’s age — he is only 28 — would normally be an advantage for a quick healing process, the surgery he underwent was described as a serious procedure that may require much more than a standard rest period.

According to Alvarez, the current feeling behind the scenes is that The Badass likely won’t be cleared in time for WrestleMania 42 on April 18 & 19. This internal assessment suggests that Breakker is expected to be sidelined for a significant amount of time, casting a shadow over what was once expected to be a career-defining season for him.

The news is a major blow to the creative landscape, as the powerhouse had been a focal point of the company’s long-term plans heading into the spring, and there were reports that WWE was planning Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker for WrestleMania 42.

• Ex-WrestleMania Main Eventer Expected To Appear At WrestleMania 42

The EST of WWE is finally seeing light at the end of a grueling 10-month tunnel. After being sidelined since her Women’s World Title match at WrestleMania 41, new reports suggest that Bianca Belair is tentatively expected to appear at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas – though her exact role remains a work in progress.

The journey back has been anything but simple. Sources close to the situation have described Belair’s rehabilitation as one of the most difficult and complicated processes they have ever witnessed. While a broken finger injury sustained last April was initially thought to be a standard 8-to-12-week recovery, Belair revealed in an interview that the damage was far more complex than a simple break.

The complications were significant enough that her internal status within WWE is currently listed as having no designated return date. Despite these setbacks and the physical toll – which included gaining and then working to lose 20 pounds during her time away – Belair has reportedly maintained a positive mindset.

The good news for the Bianca Belair faithful came via reports from Self Made and Bodyslam, confirming that WWE management is banking on her presence for the biggest show of 2026 in April.

While it is unclear if she will be cleared for a full-scale match or appear in a non-wrestling capacity at WrestleMania 42, her name is officially back on the internal radar for the Vegas event.

Belair herself recently teased progress on Instagram, sharing a photo of her hand with the hopeful caption, “It’s getting fixed.”

Bianca Belair is a former WrestleMania main eventer, as she main event WrestleMania 37 – Night 1 against Sasha Banks.
