• Bad News For The RAW Brand Heading Into WrestleMania 38 (Spoiler)

Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship is one of the main events of WrestleMania 38.

However, the Wrestling Observer is now reporting that this match will most likely turn into a Title vs. Title match, with Brock Lesnar recapturing the WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber match on February 19.

This will lead to the highly teased Title vs. Title match between Reigns and Lesnar, with both the WWE Title and the Universal Title on the line at the Show of Shows.

According to The Observer, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar have pushed the idea of this Title vs. Title match, so Vince McMahon will go ahead with it:

“At this point, the feeling on creative is that Vince will make the call to go with Title vs. Title, hence putting Lesnar in the Chamber. There were those internally including Heyman and Lesnar pushing for it.

The only thing we were told is that at press time the course to WrestleMania is once again set regarding both Titles and there are a several twists and turns to come.

It’ll all play out at Elimination Chamber most likely. The feeling internally was Vince was leaning in the direction of Title vs. Title, which would mean the originally planned WWE Title match, whatever it would have been, is now off.”

If this ends up happening, then it’s bad news for the RAW brand, as the red brand’s World Title (WWE Championship) will be contested between a SmackDown Superstar (Reigns) and a Free Agent (Lesnar) at the biggest show of the year, and no RAW Superstar will be involved.
