Ring of Honor TV premiere on Destination America at 8pm EST drew 163,000 viewers. The 11pm EST replay added another 110,000 viewers, for a total of 273,000 viewers.
The 9pm EST airing of TNA Impact Wrestling drew 297,000 viewers. This is down from last Friday’s 413,000 viewers for the final airing on Friday night. The 12am EST Impact replay drew 72,000 viewers, for a total of 369,000 viewers this week. This is down from Friday’s total of 570,000 viewers.
Losing 201,000 viewers (35% of last week) in a week is a huge thing and something that TNA should be concerned about.
It could also be possible that some people weren’t aware that TNA Impact Wrestling has moved to Wednesdays. We’ll have a better idea after next week’s show. In a related news, TNA Knockout Havok was at the WWE tryouts in Orlando this week, indicating she might be done with TNA.
