Batista Reveals The Best Advice Triple H Ever Gave Him

Batista vs. Triple H - WrestleMania 35 (Triple H's Career On The Line)

Dave Bautista, known in WWE as Batista, recently shared some invaluable advice he received from Triple H, his mentor during their time together in Evolution.

Reflecting on his early days in WWE, Batista recalled how Triple H helped shift his mindset, guiding him to treat his wrestling career as a business.

“I had a mentor named Triple H and there were a couple of things he said to me that always stuck with me. One of the things was when I first got there, I was so afraid…

I didn’t want to piss people off. It was a hierarchy thing and I was so afraid of being disrespectful or pissing somebody off. One day he said, ‘Look man, you want to make money or you want to make friends? This is a business.

You have to look at it like a business. You’re a business.’ I always thought about myself as my own commodity. I am my brand,” Batista revealed.

Another important piece of advice from Triple H emphasized the need to be strategic.

“Always imagine that everybody is pointing a gun at your head. It’s up to you how many bullets you give them,” Batista added.

Batista went on to have a highly successful WWE career, winning his first WWE Title from Triple H and eventually having his final match against him.

Since leaving wrestling, Batista has transitioned into a thriving Hollywood career and currently stars in The Killer’s Game.
