• Bayley’s WWE Departure Speculation Begins After What Happened On RAW
Lyra Valkyria interrupted Women’s Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca’s interview on tonight’s RAW. Valkyria said she ran Bayley out of WWE at Saturday Night’s Main Event:
“I’m probably glowing because I dropped the dead weight when I ran Bayley outta here.”
This has begun speculation about Bayley’s WWE departure, as her contract is set to expire this year.
Lyra also told Sol that said she’s coming for the Women’s Intercontinental Title:
“Everyone loves you, huh? I just wanted to congratulate you. You’ve done a fantastic job with a title I created. You’re athletic, beautiful, the golden girl. I just wanted to let you know that whether it’s you and Raquel, I’m coming back for what’s mine.”
Sol’s next title defense will be against Raquel Rodriguez.
• Vince McMahon – Janel Grant Lawsuit Set To Be Dismissed
The federal lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon and WWE is coming to a close after all sides reached a formal agreement to move the matter out of the public court system.
According to a five-page status report filed in federal court, Grant, McMahon, and WWE have mutually agreed to handle their legal dispute through private arbitration instead. Under the terms of this deal, Grant will file a formal request within five business days to dismiss the lawsuit completely.
Once the court approves the dismissal, Grant will no longer have the ability to file another public lawsuit regarding these specific claims. Instead, any further legal proceedings, arguments, and resolution between the parties will happen behind closed doors through the private arbitration process.
