Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Becky Lynch, Vince McMahon, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.

• Becky Lynch has addressed why Vince McMahon was not removed from her memoir, “Becky Lynch: The Man – Not Your Average Average Girl,” despite his resignation from WWE and ongoing legal issues.

Speaking at the Vulture Festival, Lynch explained that her book was nearly complete when McMahon stepped down, and she was in the editing stage, making changes difficult.

She chose to keep her personal experiences with McMahon intact, saying:

“Well, so I had kind of finished the book for the most part. By the time he had stepped down. And then I was in the editing process, and it would have been hard to kind of navigate. So I just kind of had to keep to my experiences. These were my experiences that I had with Vince.”

The memoir, released earlier this year, has received critical acclaim. Meanwhile, the lawsuit against McMahon remains on hold until December 11 due to an ongoing federal investigation.

• Cody Rhodes revealed that he didn’t get to have a backstage moment with Roman Reigns after his WWE Championship victory in the main event of WrestleMania 40.

On the SI Media podcast, Reigns was asked about this and he said he didn’t wait backstage due to Cody’s lengthy in-ring celebration after their match.

Here’s what The OTC said:

“There’s no need. But if you want to sit out there and babyface for 4 hours (laughs), then I ain’t waiting, you know what I mean? Especially at that point.

I mean what kind of time are we talking about here? There’s a lot of stuff… Exactly, and there’s a lot to be had in that night as well. And I don’t live in Philly. There’s some jet fuel to be burnt and I had to go.”
