WWE Night Of Champions 2023 premium live event in Saudi Arabia will air LIVE at 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT today.
Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles for the World Heavyweight Championship is currently scheduled to be the opening match of tonight’s PLE.
According to insider source BWE, Seth needs to fly back to the US as soon as possible because he has movie contract obligations to fulfil, and this is why his match will open the show.
For those who don’t know, Rollins will be a part of the upcoming “Captain America: New World Order” movie.
Rollins didn’t appear at yesterday’s press conference either, because he arrived late to Saudi Arabia. He hasn’t appeared in person on the last two episodes of RAW either, due to his filming schedule.
Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship is expected to be the main event now, since Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes will likely be a short squash-type match, due to Cody’s storyline broken arm injury.
The show could end with Jimmy Uso costing Roman & Solo the Tag Team Title match, since he isn’t on the same page as Roman right now and thinks that he’s The Tribal Chief.
A while back, Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa vs. The Usos was reported to take place at Money In The Bank 2023, but it’s possible WWE goes on to book Roman vs. Jimmy in a singles match, based on the current situation.
Below is the match-card for today’s show:
– Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes
– Tournament Finals To Crown The Inaugural World Heavyweight Champion: Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles
