6. Bad News For SmackDown
Last week’s Thanksgiving edition of WWE SmackDown drew record low numbers as only 1.652 million viewers tuned in to watch the show. The week before this drew 2.229 million viewers for SmackDown. So this was a big drop.
The main event on the Thanksgiving edition of SmackDown was a Triple Threat Intercontinental Title #1 Contenders’ match between Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler & Tyler Breeze. You can watch Top 10 moments from that edition of SmackDown below:
Vince McMahon is not worried about the severe drop in WWE TV ratings. McMahon believes the reason for this is that most of the Top Stars are away from WWE programming, including John Cena & Brock Lesnar, and he thinks the business will pick up when they return.
