6. NXT TakeOver: Chicago Results – New Champion Crowned & A Heel Turn

For the first time in the history of NXT, the NXT Tag Team Titles were defended in the main event of a TakeOver event last night at NXT TakeOver: Chicago. The highlights from the show were the crowning of a new Champion and a heel turn to close the show.

– NXT Championship Match: Bobby Roode (c) def. Hideo Itami to retain the Title.

– Ladder match for the NXT Tag Team Championship: The Authors of Pain (c) def. #DIY to retain the Titles.
