Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving Big E and William Regal.
• Big E shared details about his relationship with Kristen, the sister of WWE Superstar “Michin” Mia Yim, describing it as one of the best things in his life.
Writing for The Players’ Tribune, he revealed that they’ve been together for nearly a year and expressed gratitude for waiting to find the right person, as relationships had been challenging for him in the past.
Their first meeting happened at the premiere of Montez Ford and Bianca Belair’s Hulu show, Love & WWE. The two had been chatting online before the event, and Big E asked Kristen to save him a seat. Despite arriving late and nearly losing his spot to Titus O’Neil, Kristen reserved it for him, which deepened their connection.
Big E described feeling an unparalleled energy with Kristen that night, making her the center of his attention despite the star-studded surroundings.
He credited his recovery period from a broken neck for giving him the time to pursue their relationship. Now, they’re planning to get married and have bought a home together in Oakland, with Big E expressing excitement about their future.

• While speaking on Wrestling Shoot Interviews, former WWF Hardcore Champion Maven commented on Bill Goldberg’s attitude, suggesting he needed to be humbled as he believed too much in his own hype.
Citing Goldberg’s WCW match with William Regal, Maven argued that Regal, a far more skilled wrestler, had held back during the match and could have easily beaten Goldberg if he had fully tried.
Here’s what the inaugural Tough Enough winner said:
“I think everyone needs to be put in their place in life at some point, but I hate when it happens unfairly — like what happened to Stevie. He didn’t deserve the way life put him in his place with his back injury. That kind of thing just isn’t right. Stevie is the nicest human being you will ever meet.
Now, take someone like Bill. Bill’s a nice guy too, a sweetheart of a person, but he lived off his aura and believed his own hype. For example, look at the match he had with William Regal in WCW.
If you asked Bill about it, he’d say something like, ‘Oh, if it were a shoot, I would’ve killed him.’ No, he wouldn’t have. William Regal would’ve wiped the mat with him.
Regal is on a completely different level of physicality compared to Bill. Even in that match, Regal was taking it easy on him. If he’d wanted to, he could’ve torn Bill apart. Regal is just in a league of his own. He’d have Bill down and out before Bill even realized what was happening. Regal’s skill set is just upper-echelon, no question about it.”
