On this day in 1993, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW Saturday Night’.

It was taped at the Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia and featured pre-taped matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW Starrcade 1993’ PPV.

WWE taped the 16th annual WWE Tribute to the Troops show today in Fort Hood in Texas.

The main event of the show was an interbrand tag team match where SmackDown’s WWE Champion Daniel Bryan teamed up with RAW’s Dean Ambrose to face the team of SmackDown’s AJ Styles & RAW’s Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins.

The following two women’s tag team matches also took place:

– RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey & Natalya vs. Nia Jax & Tamina Snuka

– SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair vs. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville
