4. John Cena Returning Ahead of Schedule For WrestleMania 32?
15 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena was scheduled to take on The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 in a match which would’ve been billed as “Battle of Legends”.
However, Cena injured his shoulder in January and got surgery. It was then reported that Cena would be out for 6-9 months.
However, Cena has a history of returning from injuries way ahead of schedule, and this might happen this time as well, especially due to lack of star power at WrestleMania 32 and Undertaker’s WrestleMania match in jeopardy. WWE feels Cena can always appear on WWE TV and promote the match.
The current back-up plan for Undertaker is for him to face Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 32, but WWE hasn’t contacted Taker for this match yet and there could be a situation where Taker refuses to work a match with Strowman.
