We are the sad to report the passing of ECW Veteran Axl Rotten. He was 44 years old. Axl was found dead in a motel which was located in a bad part of Baltimore. Below is a statement issued by WWE:

WWE is saddened to learn of reports that Brian Knighton, best known for competing in ECW as Axl Rotten from 1993 to 1999, has passed away. WWE extends its condolences to Knighton’s family, friends and fans.

6. News on Triple H Meeting Lucha Underground Officials Back In December, TNA’s Offer Getting Rejected

According to Wrestling Observer, 14 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H, along with WWE’s Senior Director of Talent Development Canyon Cemen, met with Lucha Underground officials back in December 2015.

The meeting was regarding talent in Lucha Underground, but the talks went nowhere.

Also, TNA Wrestling recently contacted Lucha Underground and talked about the possibility of doing a joint show in Dallas during WrestleMania 32 weekend.

Lucha Underground offcials rejected the offer, thinking it would be a bad mix-up.
